A step-by-step guide for how to review and change a previously submitted and approved student Plan.

Review or Change a Student's Approved Plan

There are multiple ways to navigate to a specific student's Approved Plan:

  • From the Counselor Dashboard, apply the Approved filter and locate the desired student.
  • If you have recently viewed the desired student's Plan it will be listed on your Dashboard under Recently Visited Student Plans.
  • Select the Students icon on the left menu to go to the Students landing page. 

Review or Change a Previously Approved Plan

  1. From your Dashboard, select Students on the left menu.
  2. On the Students landing page, find the desired student using the filters as needed.
  3. Under the Actions column, select the Student Planicon to the right of the desired student's name.
  4. Select the Review Plan button.
  5. From the Review Plan pop-up window, you can do the following:
    1. Write a comment to the student
    2. Save Comment
    3. Request Revisions
    4. Cancel
  6. Your Dashboard will immediately reflect the change in status for this student's plan.
  7. The student will automatically receive a Plan status notification on their Dashboard as well. This will be visible the next time the student logs in to Planner. If your district has turned on Email Notifications, the student will also receive an email indicating they have a message in Course Planner.
  8. Once you have changed the status of the student's plan to Request Revisions, the Plan can be edited as needed. The needed changes can be applied by the Counselor or the student and then resubmitted by either person.
