Filtering in Reporting
Every report you open from the Report Library comes with filters at the top of the page. Filters let you narrow a report down to a specific time period, license, grade, user type, group, or keyword before you review the data, export it, or save it as a view.

Filter Types
Reports use two kinds of filters, shown as controls across the top of the page:
Setting the Time Period
• Click the Time Period filter box to open the list of date range options.
• Select an option from the list. The dates covered by that option are shown underneath its name.
• Use the scroll bar on the right of the list if the option you want isn't visible.
Adding Other Filters
A number next to the Add filter button shows how many filters are currently applied.
• Click + Add filter to open the list of available filters.
• Use the Filter by... search box at the top of the list to quickly find a filter by name.
• Select a filter from the list, then choose the value or values you want to filter by.
• Repeat to add more than one filter at a time; each one narrows the results further.
Changing or Removing a Filter
• To change the Time Period, click the filter box and select a different option.
• To adjust a filter added through Add filter, click it and update the selected value.
• To remove a filter added through Add filter, open it and clear the selected value, or remove it from the filter list.
